The Mercantile at Moonrise Ridge

Summer in the Mercantile

We offer a curated selection of all natural goods from a 50 mile radius of our farm. Our passions for environmental consciousness, honoring terroir, and building a resilient local food economy and ecosystem are all achieved in this small but mighty space. The building itself was the original smokehouse of the old farmstead, dating to the 1920’s. We repaired and converted it to a farmstead in 2020. Now it houses our own products like slow raised heritage lamb meat, seasonal vegetables, eggs, and hand poured local beeswax candles, and a wide variety of other local producers. Seasonally we offer more produce from surrounding farms who share our integrity for regenerative growing practices. All times of year we offer small batch, wild ferments, freshly baked sourdough bread, sheep’s milk cheese and yogurt, all natural home and body goods, even regionally grown and locally freshly milled flours, and even a small collection of slow craft goods. See the list below for a comprehensive list of the producers we carry and follow their links for details on their work, all of which we greatly admire.

All products are available in store only. The mercantile is self-serve and honor system. We accept cash, check, and Venmo. We are open daily sunrise-sunset. If you have a question with realtime availability you can call or email. Otherwise, for periodic updates with new products, or a seasonal product or sale please subscribe to our newsletter.
